Throughout the day, maximum attention was paid to eliminating the consequences of the Russian terrorists' attack on Odesa, on communities in the region, on Chornomorsk, on our ports. This was perhaps the largest attempt by Russia to inflict pain on Odesa in the entire period of full-scale war. Thanks to the air defense and all our defenders of the sky, the consequences of this strike are still less than they could have been. With each such strike, we appeal to our partners again and again: Ukraine's sky shield needs to be strengthened.

This attack proves that their target is not only Ukraine, and not only the lives of our people. About a million tons of food is stored in the ports that were attacked today. This is the volume that should have been delivered to consumer countries in Africa and Asia long ago. The port terminal that suffered the most from the Russian terror last night had 60,000 tons of agricultural products stored in it, which were intended to be shipped to China. That is, everyone is affected by this Russian terror. Everyone in the world should be interested in bringing Russia to justice for its terror.

У межах Чорноморської зернової ініціативи Україна відправила до Ефіопії майже 300 тисяч тонн продовольства та ще 90 тисяч тонн зерна в межах окремої ініціативи #GrainfromUkraine.

Україна й досі готова залишатися гарантом світової продовольчої безпеки. А також зацікавлена розвивати двосторонні відносини з Ефіопією в галузях безпеки, цифровізації та в інших.

Під час першої в історії двосторонніх відносин телефонної розмови з Прем’єр-міністром Ефіопії Абієм Ахмедом Алі розповів про односторонній вихід Росії з Чорноморської зернової ініціативи, незаконне блокування судноплавства, обстріли портової та енергетичної інфраструктури України. Обговорили підготовку до Глобального саміту миру та запросив Прем’єр-міністра відвідати Україну.

Необхідно створити майданчик для діалогу з країнами Африки. Голос Ефіопії, Африканського Союзу, усієї Африки дуже важливий для нас.

As part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Ukraine has supplied Ethiopia with almost 300,000 tons of food and another 90,000 tons of grain within a separate #GrainFromUkraine initiative.

Ukraine is still ready to remain a guarantor of global food security. It is also interested in developing bilateral relations with Ethiopia in the areas of security, digitization, and others.

During the first phone call in the history of bilateral relations with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, I told him about Russia's unilateral withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, illegal blocking of navigation, and shelling of Ukraine's port and energy infrastructure. We discussed preparations for the Global Peace Summit. I invited the Prime Minister to visit Ukraine.

It is necessary to create a platform for dialogue with African countries. The voice of Ethiopia, the African Union, all of Africa is very important to us.

Сьогодні є важливе рішення Національного банку України щодо фінансової установи, яка працює в нашій країні та яка належить російським олігархам – вони під санкціями в різних юрисдикціях. Були застосовані санкції РНБО. І тепер буде правильним, щоб Кабінет Міністрів України невідкладно розглянув відповідні пропозиції Нацбанку України та підтримав їх щодо цієї фінансової установи в інтересах вкладників, заради фінансової стабільності та елементарної справедливості.

Говорив сьогодні з Премʼєр-міністром Шмигалем і про інше питання, яке варто розглядати, зокрема, через призму справедливості: бюджетні видатки. Я запропонував главі уряду два кроки. Перший: знайти позабюджетні кошти на проекти, які зараз дійсно потрібні. У світі є люди, які можуть допомогти. Другий: попросив Премʼєр-міністра розглянути заміну міністра культури та інформаційної політики України.

Окремо хочу звернутися до всіх представників місцевої влади в нашій країні: люди мають відчувати, що ресурси бюджетів використовуються справедливо та правильно. Кожен розуміє, про що йдеться. Бруківка, прикрашання міст, фонтани почекають – спочатку перемога.

Today, the National Bank of Ukraine has made an important decision regarding the financial institution operating in our country and owned by Russian oligarchs – they are under sanctions in various jurisdictions. The NSDC sanctions were applied. And now it will be right for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to immediately consider the relevant proposals of the National Bank of Ukraine and support them in relation to this financial institution in the interests of depositors, for the sake of financial stability and basic justice.

Today, I also spoke with Prime Minister Shmyhal about another issue that should be considered, in particular, through the prism of justice: budget expenditures. I suggested two steps to the Prime Minister. The first is to find extra-budgetary funds for projects that are really needed now. There are people in the world who can help. Second, I asked the Prime Minister to consider replacing the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

I would also like to appeal to all local authorities in our country: people should feel that budget resources are used fairly and properly. Everyone understands what we are talking about. Paving stones, city decorations, and fountains can wait till after the victory.

Чернігівська область, селище Гончарівське – влучання ракети. Дві жінки вбиті, триває розбір завалів. Пошкоджені будинок культури, школа, житлові будинки. Мої співчуття рідним та близьким загиблих!

Сьогодні ж російські ракети і дрони знову били по Одесі, по нашим південним районам. Загалом від початку тижня лише на території Одеської області від російського терору постраждали більше 20 людей, серед них двоє дітей.

Лише абсолютне зло може завдавати таких ударів. Буде відповідь. Окрім цього, буде ще більше консолідації світу для захисту і для спільних дій, іще більше енергії заради перемоги, іще більше прагнення справедливості, справедливого покарання Росії за всі злочини цієї війни. І таке покарання – буде.

Russia killed two more children today. Russian artillery attack on the village of Druzhba, Toretsk community, Donetsk region. A girl born in 2007 and a boy born in 2013 died. Chernihiv Region, the village of Honcharivske – a missile hit. Two women were killed, the demolition of the rubble is underway... A cultural center, a school, residential buildings were damaged. Today, Russian missiles and drones hit Odesa and our southern regions again. In total, since the start of the week, over 20 people have suffered from Russian terror in Odesa region alone. Among them are two children.

Через дії Росії світ знову опинився на порозі продовольчої кризи. Загроза голоду нависла загалом над 400 мільйонами людей у багатьох країнах Африки та Азії. Спільними зусиллями ми маємо відвернути глобальну продовольчу катастрофу.

Провів телефонну розмову з Президентом Туреччини Реджепом Таїпом Ердоганом. Подякував за плідну зустріч у Стамбулі 7 липня та принципову позицію Туреччини щодо членства України в НАТО.

Ми скоординували зусилля щодо відновлення роботи Чорноморської зернової ініціативи. Розблокування «зернового коридору» є абсолютним пріоритетом.

Обговорили реалізацію #ФормулаМиру. Попросив Президента Ердогана сприяти поверненню українських ув’язнених, зокрема кримських татар.

We discussed the implementation of #PeaceFormula and I asked for President Erdoğan's assistance in returning Ukrainian POWs, in particular Crimean Tatars.
