Russian terrorists have once again proved that they are a threat to everything living. The destruction of one of the largest water reservoirs in Ukraine is absolutely deliberate. At least 100 thousand people lived in these areas before the Russian invasion. At least tens of thousands are still there. Hundreds of thousands of people have been left without normal access to drinking water. Our services, all those who can help people, are already involved. But we can only help on the territory controlled by Ukraine. On the part occupied by Russia, the occupiers are not even trying to help people.
This once again demonstrates the cynicism with which Russia treats the people whose land it has captured and what Russia really brings to Europe and the world.

Türkiye's voice is important when it comes to the withdrawal of occupation troops from Ukrainian territory. It is also important when it comes to the return of our illegally detained citizens, in particular Crimean Tatars, and the continuation and expansion of the grain initiative.

I spoke about the current situation in Kherson region, the environmental and humanitarian consequences of the Russian act of terrorism, and outlined the urgent needs of Ukraine to eliminate the disaster. We discussed the possibility of using international mechanisms to investigate its causes.
I told about the agreement with the IAEA and Rafael Grossi to increase control over the ZNPP.
We agreed to continue defense cooperation, in particular to protect our skies. We look forward to the earliest possible start of training for Ukrainian pilots. We discussed the formats of security guarantees for Ukraine, expectations from the NATO Summit in Vilnius and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.
Розповів про актуальну ситуацію на Херсонщині, екологічні та гуманітарні наслідки російського теракту. Передав нагальні потреби України для ліквідації катастрофи. Обговорили можливість задіяння міжнародних механізмів для розслідування її причин.

Зараз потрібна чітка і швидка реакція світу на те, що відбувається. Навіть неможливо встановити достеменно – скільки людей на окупованій тимчасово території Херсонщини можуть загинути без порятунку, без питної води, без їжі, без медичної допомоги.
Наші військові та спецслужби настільки, наскільки це можливо, попри обстріли – рятують людей. Але потрібні масштабні зусилля.
Потрібно, щоб міжнародні організації – такі, як Міжнародний комітет Червоного Хреста, – негайно долучилися до рятувальної операції та допомогли людям саме на окупованій частині Херсонщини.

Our military and special services are rescuing people as much as it is possible, despite the shelling. But large-scale efforts are needed.
We need international organizations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, to immediately join the rescue operation and help people in the occupied part of Kherson region.
Each person who dies there is a verdict on the existing international architecture and international organizations that have forgotten how to save lives. If there is no international organization in the area of this disaster now, it means that it does not exist at all, that it is incapable of functioning. All the relevant appeals from Ukraine and our government are in place.
Many world leaders, heads of state, governments, and interstate associations have expressed their support for Ukraine and clear condemnation of the Russian crime of ecocide. I am grateful for this principled approach!

The operational situation in the region as a result of the disaster, evacuation of the population from potential flood zones, elimination of the emergency caused by the dam explosion, organization of life support for the flooded areas. Also, the prospects for restoring the region's ecosystem and the operational military situation in the man-made disaster area.
It is important to calculate the damage and allocate funds to compensate residents affected by the disaster and develop a program to compensate for losses or relocate businesses within the Kherson region.
Багато важливих питань: оперативна обстановка в області, яка склалася внаслідок катастрофи, евакуація населення з потенційних зон затоплення, ліквідація надзвичайної ситуації, спричиненої підривом греблі, організація життєзабезпечення затоплених територій. Також перспективи відновлення екосистеми регіону й оперативна воєнна обстановка в зоні техногенної катастрофи.
Важливо підрахувати збитки та виділити кошти для компенсацій жителям, постраждалим унаслідок катастрофи, і розробити програму для компенсації збитків або релокації підприємств у межах Херсонщини.
