I spoke about the situation in Ukraine and the repulse of Russian armed aggression on the battlefield. Every day we take steps to ensure the resilience of Ukrainian soldiers, support society and business.

I am grateful to Howard Buffett for supporting the Ukrainian people! In particular, for the implementation of the kitchen factory project, which is part of the school meals reform, as well as the assistance in the implementation of the grain initiative, support for demining, purchase of generators and elimination of the consequences of the enemy’s shelling of the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.

Ми зараз на такому етапі війни, коли важливо і нашому суспільству, і партнерам не втрачати відчуття шляху, яким маємо пройти. Саме шляху. Шляху, який попереду.

Порівняно з минулим роком у багатьох місцях зараз тихіше. Але це не означає, що можна десь там ігнорувати війну чи бути менш сконцентрованими на допомозі державі. Нам вдалося зробити багато разом із партнерами для захисту людей, України, всієї Європи. Але це не означає, що зараз – час спочивати на лаврах.

Так само, як у складі Ставки кожен відповідає за свою частину оборони держави, на шляху до перемоги кожному і кожній варто розуміти: а що є вашими кроками до перемоги? Та чи на весь шлях вистачає цих кроків?

Це нерозумно – просто пасивно сподіватися, що перемогу принесе хтось інший, той, хто зараз в окопах, хто зараз у штурмах. Це спільне завдання. Перемога здобувається усіма. Тими, хто за неї б’ється, і тими, хто дає зброю. Тими, хто скорочує можливості держави-терориста, і тими, хто збільшує можливості України.

Дякую всім українцям і українкам, хто розуміє, що маємо пройти цей шлях разом до перемоги і у справжній єдності, підтримуючи одне одного та державу! Дякую всім нашим партнерам у світі, хто не збавляє активності у допомозі!

We are now at such a stage of the war, when it is important for our society and partners not to lose a sense of the path we have to overcome. Precisely the path. The path that’s ahead.

Compared to last year, it’s quieter in many places now. But this does not mean that somewhere you can ignore the war or be less focused on helping the state. We managed to do a lot together with our partners to protect people, Ukraine, and the whole of Europe. But this doesn't mean it's time to rest on our laurels.

Just as everyone in the Staff is responsible for their part of the defense of the state, on the path to victory everyone should understand what their steps to victory are. And whether these steps are enough to complete the entire path.

It is unwise to just passively hope that someone else will bring victory, the one who is now in the trenches, who is now in the assaults. This is a common task. Victory is gained by everyone. By those who fight for it and those who give weapons. By those who reduce the capabilities of the terrorist state and those who increase the capabilities of Ukraine.

Thank you to all Ukrainian men and women who understand that we have to walk this path together - to victory, and in true unity, supporting each other and the state. I am thankful to all our partners in the world who remain active in helping.

Загалом зараз випускаються 2607 офіцерів поліції, 414 випускників ДСНС. Знаю, що серед вас є ті, хто буде нести службу в прифронтових і прикордонних регіонах – Сумщина, Харківщина, Запоріжжя, Херсонщина, Донбас. Знаю, що серед вас є ті, хто приєднується до нашої нової штурмової бригади «Лють».

Я дякую вам за сміливість обрати саме такий професійний шлях! Щиро бажаю кожному і кожній із вас міцності, яка була б рівнозначна міцності всієї нашої України. Та гідності, щоб українці могли пишатися вами й надіятися на вас.

Everyone who chooses the profession of a law enforcement officer or rescuer gets the opportunity to make Ukraine stronger in a decisive thing. In what distinguishes us the most from the enemy, from the evil state. In the protection of people, in the protection of the very basis of life - a safe, normal life.

In total, two thousand six hundred and seven police officers, four hundred and fourteen graduates of the State Emergency Service are now graduating. I know that among you there are those who will serve in the frontline and border regions - Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donbas. I know that among you there are those who are joining our new "Liut" assault brigade.

I thank you for the courage to choose such a professional path! I sincerely wish each and every one of you strength that would be equivalent to the strength of our entire Ukraine. And dignity - so that Ukrainians can be proud of you and pin hopes on you.

Поінформував про ситуацію на передовій та поділився оцінками щодо перспектив її розвитку. Детально обговорили подальші напрями американської допомоги та роль Конгресу в цьому процесі. Ми боремося за спільні цінності – свободу і демократію. Наша перемога буде визначальною для розвитку ситуації в Європі та в усьому світі. Продовження такої комплексної підтримки – оборонної і фінансової – є запорукою нашої перемоги над агресором.

I had a meeting with the bipartisan delegation of the Senate of the U.S. Congress including Joseph Manchin, Lisa Murkowski and Mark Kelly.

I informed them about the situation on the frontline and shared assessments of the prospects for its development. We discussed further directions of American assistance and the role of Congress in this process. We are fighting for common values - freedom and democracy. Our victory will be decisive for the development of the situation in Europe and throughout the world. Continuation of such comprehensive support - defense and financial - is the guarantee of our victory over the aggressor.

Thank you for your visit to Ukraine. This is an important signal of support for our state and the entire Ukrainian people.

Жодної руїни в Україні – не буде. Це наша мета. І це буде цілком конкретний доказ повного програшу держави-терориста.
Тим більше що світ знає рішення – щодо активів Росії, російських посадовців, олігархів, які багатіли, поки їхня держава ставала терористом… Усі ці активи мають піти на компенсацію збитків тим, кому Росія принесла біль і страждання. Російські активи повинні піти на відновлення після агресії. Війна повинна вийти найдорожчою – саме для агресора. І все для цього ми робимо.

Взяв участь у третьому засіданні міністерського круглого столу щодо підтримки України під керівництвом українського уряду, групи Світового банку та МВФ.

Перше: першочергові потреби у відбудові. Щоб люди поверталися в Україну, щоб агресор програвав не лише на полі бою, а буквально в усьому, нам потрібне погодження програми підтримки для покриття першочергових проектів швидкого відновлення.

І друге: вже треба працювати над конкретними механізмами спрямування заморожених російських активів на компенсацію завданих Росією збитків. Це буде саме миротворчий акт – у глобальному масштабі. Потенційні агресори повинні це бачити.

На війні не буває другорядних фронтів. Усі потребують уваги та міцності. Фінансовий фронт – особливо. Ми робимо свою частину роботи, і я вдячний усім, хто допомагає. Але фундаментальні рішення залежать від вас. Вірю, що вони будуть ухвалені!

I took part in the third meeting of the ministerial round table on support for Ukraine under the leadership of the Ukrainian government, the World Bank group and the IMF.

First: priority needs for reconstruction. For people to return to Ukraine, for the aggressor to lose not only on the battlefield, but literally in everything - we need the approval of the Support Program to cover the priority projects of Fast Recovery.

Second: it’s necessary to work on concrete mechanisms for using frozen Russian assets to compensate for the damage caused by Russia. It will be a peacemaking act on a global scale. Potential aggressors must see this.

There are no secondary frontlines in the war. All of them require attention and strength. The financial frontline in particular. We are doing our part, and I am grateful to everyone who helps. But the fundamental decisions are up to you. I believe that they will be made!

There will be no ruins in Ukraine. This is our goal. And this will be quite concrete proof of the complete defeat of the terrorist state.
Especially since the world knows the solution - regarding the assets of Russia, Russian officials, oligarchs who got rich while their state was becoming a terrorist... All these assets should be used to compensate for the losses of those to whom Russia brought pain and suffering. Russian assets must go to recovery after aggression. The war should be the most costly for the aggressor exactly. And we do everything for this.

Сьогодні в нас визначний день. 13 квітня 2022 року українська ракета допомогла навести лад в українській акваторії Чорного моря. Завдяки нашому «Нептуну» ворожий флагман відправився саме туди, де йому й місце, як і всім іншим російським військовим кораблям.

Саме тому 13 квітня відсьогодні буде щороку відзначатися як професійний день усіх працівників і працівниць оборонно-промислового комплексу України. Відповідний указ я підписав.

Вітаю вас із професійним днем і дякую за те, що ваша робота додає усій Україні часу і можливостей, перемог і безпеки!

On April 13, 2022, a Ukrainian missile helped restore order in the Ukrainian waters of the Black Sea. Thanks to our "Neptune", the enemy flagship went exactly where it belongs - like all other Russian warships.

That is why from now on April 13 will be celebrated every year as the professional day of all workers of the defense and industrial complex of Ukraine. I signed the relevant decree.

I congratulate you on your professional day and thank you for the fact that your work adds time and opportunities, victories and security to all of Ukraine!

Сьогодні провів військовий кабінет – особливий формат роботи з керівниками нашого сектору оборони, нашими командувачами, розвідкою, Офісом. Лише те, що прямо необхідно для управління передовою і забезпечення активних дій України, захисту нашої держави від російського терору. Це було змістовно.

І наші дії – будуть потужними. Готуємо хлопців. І дуже чекаємо постачання зброї, обіцяного партнерами. І по максимуму – наближаємо перемогу. По максимуму – дух єдності. По максимуму – ефективність. Підготовка – теж по максимуму.

Ворог обов’язково нестиме втрати у відповідь за кожен удар по українцях.

I held a meeting of the Military Cabinet, a special format of work with the leaders of our defense sector, our commanders, intelligence, and the Office. Only what is directly necessary for frontline management and provision of active actions of Ukraine, protection of our state from Russian terror. It was meaningful.

And our actions will be powerful. We are preparing the guys. And we are very much looking forward to the delivery of weapons promised by our partners. We are bringing the victory as close as possible. And we’re ensuring the spirit of unity to the maximum. Efficiency - to the maximum. Preparation - also to the maximum.

The enemy will certainly suffer losses in response to every strike against the Ukrainians.
