Чернігівщина. Село Ягідне. #МістаГероїв

Разом із Віце-канцлером, міністром економіки та захисту клімату Німеччини Робертом Габеком та Генеральним секретарем Ради Європи Марією Пейчинович-Бурич оглянули наслідки окупації російськими військами села Ягідне.

Відвідали Ягіднянську загальноосвітню школу, у підвалі якої російські окупанти примусово утримували в антисанітарних умовах 367 цивільних українців. Мешканці Ягідного пройшли через страшні випробування. У підвалі були 27 днів. Вижили стоячи і сидячи. 11 людей загинули, на жаль. І всі ці люди якимось чином у пітьмі жили і чекали назад Україну.

Дякую їм за те, що вони вижили, змогли дочекатися наших воїнів та розповісти всьому світові про ту трагедію, яку принесла Російська Федерація на нашу землю.

Chernihiv region. Yahidne village. #CitiesOfHeroes

Together with VVice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić, we saw the consequences of the occupation of the village of Yahidne by Russian troops.

We visited the Yahidne secondary school, in the basement of which the Russian occupiers forcibly kept 367 Ukrainian civilians in unsanitary conditions. The residents of Yahidne lived through terrible ordeals. They were kept in the basement for 27 days. They survived standing and sitting. 11 people died, unfortunately. And all these people somehow lived in the dark and were waiting for Ukraine to return.

I am grateful to them for the fact that they survived, managed to wait for our warriors and to tell the whole world about the tragedy that the Russian Federation has brought to our land.

Хочу подякувати жителям Ягідного. Вони пройшли катування й страшний шлях – шлях абсолютних героїв. Дякую Україні за те, що в нас є такі борці за життя.

Для мене честь сьогодні – відзначити боротьбу міста Чернігова, загалом героїзм області. І передати Чернігову відзнаку міста-героя, міста героїв.

Рік тому успіхи нашого народу в битвах за Чернігівщину, Сумщину, за Київщину відкрили світу правду. Правду про те, якою є Україна.

Світ побачив не тільки сміливість і рішучість українців, не лише те, які незламні українці й українки. Світ побачив, що Україна здатна вийти переможцем із цієї війни – війни за Україну.
Це була принципова зміна ставлення до нашої держави, до нас усіх, українців. Саме тут була підтверджена віра світу в Україну. Підтверджена діями наших воїнів та втечею окупанта.

Дякую всім, хто наближає нашу перемогу. Слава всім, хто зараз у бою заради України!

It is an honor for me today to celebrate the struggle of the city of Chernihiv, the heroism of the region as a whole, and present Chernihiv with the award of a hero city, a city of heroes.

A year ago, the successes of our people in the battles for the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions revealed the truth to the world. The truth about Ukraine.

The world saw not only the grit and resolve of Ukrainians, not only how indomitable Ukrainian men and women are. The world saw that Ukraine is capable of emerging victorious from this war - a war for Ukraine.
It was a fundamental change in the attitude towards our state, towards all of us, Ukrainians. It was here that the world's faith in Ukraine was confirmed. Confirmed by the actions of our warriors and the retreat of the invader.

I am thankful to everyone who brings our victory closer. Glory to all who are now in combat for Ukraine!

Відновлювальні роботи на мостовому переході через річку Десна «Київський міст» на Чернігівщині.

Міст було зруйновано 23 березня 2022 року внаслідок російського авіаудару, і наразі в’їзд до Чернігова здійснюється через тимчасову понтонну переправу.

Разом із Віце-канцлером, міністром економіки та захисту клімату Німеччини Робертом Габеком ознайомилися з процесом відновлення мосту та проектом відновлення мостопереходів Чернігівської області.

Також запропонували Віце-канцлеру Німеччини розглянути можливість фінансової підтримки відновлення мостової інфраструктури регіону.

Restoration work on the "Kyiv Bridge" over the Desna River in the Chernihiv region.

The bridge was destroyed on March 23, 2022 as a result of a Russian airstrike, and the entrance to Chernihiv is currently carried out by a temporary pontoon crossing.

Together with Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck, we observed the progress of the restoration of the bridge and the project of restoration of bridge crossings in the Chernihiv region.

We also urged the Vice Chancellor of Germany to consider the possibility of financial support for the restoration of the region's bridge infrastructure.

Під час робочої поїздки на Чернігівщину зустрівся з Віце-канцлером, міністром економіки та захисту клімату Німеччини Робертом Габеком.

Ми цінуємо дієву підтримку та солідарність з Україною Уряду Німеччини й особисто Роберта Габека із перших днів повномасштабної російської агресії.

Дякуємо Німеччині за лідерство в забезпеченні України необхідним оборонним озброєнням, зокрема через надання німецьких танків Leopard і БМП Marder, а також за внесок у захист українського неба. Важливо, щоб ця допомога продовжувалась.

Двопалатна та двопартійна підтримка з боку США, Президента Байдена, усього американського народу відіграла вирішальну роль у здатності нашої держави протистояти Росії у війні за свою свободу та демократичні цінності.

Сподіваюсь, що високий рівень підтримки та взаємодії між нашими державами зберігатиметься й надалі. Це запорука спільної перемоги над російським агресором.

An important meeting with the delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Republican Party led by the Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Mike Turner.

Bicameral and bipartisan support from the United States, President Biden, and the entire American people has played a critical role in our country's ability to stand up to Russia in the war for our freedom and democratic values.

I hope that the high level of support and interaction between our states will be maintained. This is the key to joint victory over the Russian aggressor.

У Чернігівській області сьогодні від ранку було багато різних заходів, переговорів. Одна з найважчих емоційних поїздок.

Відвідали Ягідне – звичайне невеличке село нашої Чернігівщини, яке російські звірі перетворили минулого року на один із найбільших світових прикладів знущання з людей. Ось цей підвал, цей концентраційний табір у Ягідному, як і всі інші злочини Росії проти людей і людяності, ніколи державі-злу не пробачимо. Законна та справедлива відповідальність за кожен скоєний на український землі російський злочин неодмінно буде. У трибуналі, у Міжнародному кримінальному суді, в українських судах.

Нове виїзне засідання Ставки – перше було у Дніпрі, тепер – у Чернігові. Ключові безпекові питання – на передовій, у північних регіонах і на кордоні. Доповіли командувачі напрямків – цього разу генерали Сирський і Тарнавський доповідали по захищеному звʼязку, а не особисто, із найгарячіших ділянок фронту.

Ситуація в Бахмуті, Авдіївці, Марʼїнці та всій Донеччині. Білогорівка та вся Луганщина. Головком і керівник ГУР МО, голова Державної прикордонної служби, представники Міністерства оборони.

Повноцінне засідання. Повноцінна координація. Повноцінна підготовка наших активних дій заради звільнення українських земель.

Слава всім, хто зараз у бою заради України! Слава Україні!

There were many different events and negotiations in the Chernihiv region starting from this morning. One of the most difficult trips in terms of emotions.

We visited Yahidne, an ordinary small village of our Chernihiv region, which Russian savages turned into one of the world's biggest examples of human abuse last year. We will never forgive the evil state for this basement, this concentration camp in Yahidne, just as for all other crimes of Russia against people and humanity. And not only us. The Kremlin will not be able to hide behind a chair in the UN Security Council, gas pipes or anything else. There will certainly be legal and fair responsibility for every Russian crime committed on Ukrainian soil. In the tribunal, in the International Criminal Court, in Ukrainian courts.

Another away meeting of the Staff - the first was in Dnipro, now - in Chernihiv. Key security issues at the front, in the northern regions and at the border. The commanders of the directions delivered reports. This time, Generals Syrskyi and Tarnavskyi reported by secure communication line, and not in person, from the hottest areas of the front.

The situation in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka and throughout the Donetsk region. Bilohorivka and the entire Luhansk region. The Commander-in-Chief and the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Head of the State Border Guard Service, representatives of the Ministry of Defense.

Full-fledged meeting. Full-fledged coordination. Full-fledged preparation of our active actions for the liberation of Ukrainian lands.

Вчора провів зустріч із делегацією політиків, бізнесменів та представників благодійних організацій Сполучених Штатів Америки на чолі з колишнім Державним секретарем США Майком Помпео.

Такі візити, зустрічі є потужним сигналом підтримки українців у нашій боротьбі за свободу та демократію. Сполучені Штати поруч з нами, і разом з нами боряться за спільні цілі. Ми відчуваємо двопартійну підтримку, підтримку з боку Білого дому. Всебічна американська підтримка для нас дуже важлива.

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a delegation of politicians, businessmen and representatives of charitable organizations from the United States of America, led by former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Such visits and meetings are a powerful signal of support for Ukrainians in our struggle for freedom and democracy. The United States stands by us and fights with us for common goals. We feel bipartisan support, support from the White House. Comprehensive American support is very important for us.
