Department of Telecommunications (DoT): As a government department under the โ Ministry of Communications, the DoT is the sole licensor. It holds the actual licensing power, handles spectrum assignments, and executes broader telecommunications policies. ๐ข๐ก
If a dispute arises between a service provider and a consumer or licensor, that is handled by a separate adjudicatory body called the โ Telecommunications Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT).โ๏ธ๐
