1. Employment Guarantee
Guaranteed 125 days of wage employment per rural household annually.
Employment must be provided within 15 days of demand.
2. Unemployment Allowance
If work is not provided within 15 days:
Paid by the State Government.
First 30 days: at least ยผ (25%) of notified wage rate.
Remaining period: at least ยฝ (50%) of notified wage rate.
3. Wage Payment
Wages credited through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Amount transferred to workers' bank or post office accounts.
Payment made weekly or within 15 days of muster roll closure.
4. Compensation for Delayed Wage Payment โญ๏ธ
If wages are
not paid within 15 days:Worker gets compensation.
Rate =
0.05% of unpaid wages per day.Compensation starts from the 16th day after muster roll closure.
