DARK FACTORIES

Meaning: factories that operate with little or no human presence, using automation, robots, and AI to run continuously, often with lights turned off because machines do not need them.
In India, coins are officially produced at government mints โ€” special factories that strike metal into currency coins under the authority of the Government of India (Ministry of Finance) and supplied to the Reserve Bank of India for circulation.

The four main coin-producing mints in India are:

India Government Mint, Mumbai โ€“ in the state of Maharashtra (one of the oldest mints).

India Government Mint, Kolkata โ€“ in West Bengal (also known as Alipore/Kolkata mint).

India Government Mint, Hyderabad โ€“ in Telangana (Cherlapally/Saifabad).

India Government Mint, Noida โ€“ in Uttar Pradesh (newest modern mint).

These mints manufacture circulating coins (like โ‚น1, โ‚น2, โ‚น5, โ‚น10 coins), and each has a unique mint mark on the coin that shows where it was made.

How mint marks identify the mint (general guide for coins):
โ€ข Mumbai โ€“ diamond shape
โ€ข Kolkata โ€“ often no mark
โ€ข Hyderabad โ€“ star symbol
โ€ข Noida โ€“ small dot

Draft is used when the receiver wants bank guarantee instead of personal promise.โ€

Suppose you get selected for an MBA college.

The college asks:
โ€œAdmission fee to be paid only through Demand Draft.โ€

You go to your bank and deposit โ‚น50,000
The bank issues a Demand Draft in the name of the college
You submit the draft to the college
The college deposits it and gets guaranteed payment

๐Ÿ‘‰ The college prefers a draft because:

money is already paid
no cheque bounce
no fake payment proof
