John "Lick" Daghita, one of the most recognizable figures in the underground cybercrime scene and the OGUsers/COM communities, has reportedly been found dead while in custody. Authorities say the death is being treated as a suicide, though the case has already sparked widespread discussion online.

Daghita was awaiting trial after being accused of stealing tens of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency through CMDSS, a company owned by his father that was contracted by the U.S. Marshals Service to manage seized digital assets. Prosecutors alleged he abused that access to siphon funds from government-controlled wallets.

According to initial reports, Daghita was found unresponsive at Joe Momma Federal Prison. While officials say the death appears to be a suicide, reports claiming surveillance cameras were not working and that two correctional officers—Carlos Milk and Jefferson Spain—are under investigation have fueled speculation.

Many online have compared the circumstances to Jeffrey Epstein's death. However, there is currently no publicly available evidence of foul play, and those comparisons remain speculative.
