Greetings and hugs to you all!
Here I'm showing you the process of a work in progress for @geiveres, and I'd like to share some thoughts on my production process.
This order uses a simple technique, rendering, but that doesn't make its detail and production any less tedious.
Many myths and misconceptions have been spread about my work, so I'll answer a frequently asked question: Why does a work of mine take so long? It's simple: because I don't work with layers of shadows. I paint everything as if it were an oil painting, detailing, shaping, combining, mixing tones, and creating light.
And that's just the character, not counting the background!
I'm always very grateful for your patience with my work.
Sometimes I cry from insecurity because I feel like my technique takes so long. My colleagues tell me to stop! But I think that's what makes my work so different. I like to pay attention to the details and the compositions.

My tablet's pen broke.
It's not sold here in Venezuela, and normally importing one takes a while anyway, but after the two earthquakes that hit us the main airport that handled incoming packages was damaged, so couriers are taking alternate routes and everything from abroad is arriving even slower right now. Waiting on a shipped pen would mean at least a month with no way to work, so I'm replacing the whole tablet instead. It costs more, but it gets me back to drawing much sooner.
