Gs3- conservation- Man- animal conflict
The first motivation behind this channel was to just maintain a repository for all the positive news for myself and that's how the first post on the channel was about Man- animal conflict.... This ghastly incident reminds me of the burial of nilgai when IT was ALIVE.....
Nilgai buried alive
A person I know casually responded that... "Hota hai yaar, ab hum kya kar sakte hai.. they had no choice as it was destroying their crops"
This is not a call for being an animal rights activist. It's just that If this doesn't affect you a bit... Or if you are reducing this news to just a "current affairs" material... - in the lexicon of civil services syllabus- you lack empathy (GS-4 : Ethics)π . I would end this post here...
You all prepare for this exam, you must have prepared environment syllabus- you know what just happened. Just note down your own thoughts to know yourself better. I rest my case here. Sorry for the long post.

GS4- Ethics in Governance- Commitment example This can be a potential case study for innovative problem solving- The key takeaways from the article include :
1)Compulsory Institutional/ home quarantine- Slum dwellers
2) Seva sindhu portal- Quarantine facillity for travellers
3) Quarantine Watch App- watchdog to ensure you dont break the rules
4)Mobile squads-Ease of access

6) Apthamitra- Tele medicine initiative. - Here is a link to understand the potential of tele medicine - Click here
Important aspect of any problem solving is quick thinking and adaptability- Karnataka used the technology and combined these with quick efforts to reduce the burden in the initial stages- When we have to "live with the virus" this is the kind of guard needed. Sure there will be better solutions- but they are trying and kudos to the bureaucracy
