They also penalize the promotion of enmity or hatred on these grounds during elections
⚜️Model Code of Conduct (MCC): Although not legally binding, the MCC sets forth norms for political conduct, deterring parties and candidates from exploiting caste, religious, or linguistic differences(Abhiram Singh vs. C.D.
