Will you die at 78 because society told you to? ๐โ
My wife and I were deep into a thought experiment the other night. Sheโs turning 50; Iโm 57. Society says we should be winding down, hitting the meds, and eyeing the nearest recliner.
I say thatโs total BS.
My genetic blueprint is a house of horrors; cancer, dementia, you name it. But my biggest threat isnโt my DNA.
Itโs Normative Anchoring.
A normative anchor is the invisible speed governor embedded in your brain. It tells you that 78 is the finish line, so you start "declining" at 60. Itโs a psychological splinter that limits your potential.
The body does what the mind believes.
Iโm training for a life to 100, not a 20-year crawl to the grave.
Iโve refused the normative anchor. Iโve dismissed it as much as I dismissed โget a job and save for 50 yearsโ orthodoxy.
Question is, what normative anchors are keeping youโฆ wellโฆ normal?

How much is 10 years of quality life worth to you?
๐ ๐ฐ ๐
No, I'm not talking about staring at a wall while using a walker to get to the bathroom.
When it comes to lifespan, the most important currency isn't money... it's something everyone has, but mostly neglects.
What is it?
The Art of Choosing Hard.
Case in point: I just hit a major goal this week: getting my โWhoop Ageโ 10 years younger than my actual age. It's a seminal example of the Hard/Easy Paradox, specifically, The Rule of Persistence as highlighted in my new book, Choose Hard, Live Easy - The Art of War for Decision-Making.
---- THE RULE OF PERSISTENCE ---
Whatever you repeatedly choose in the short term, its Polarity will persist and endure in the long term.
๐ Choose Easy? You not only GET Hard, you LIVE Hard.
๐ Choose Hard? You not only GET Easy, you LIVE Easy.
Back to my biometric achievement of being 10 years younger... the thing is, I donโt feel 56 (real age) or 47 (biometric age)... I feel more like 35.
The point is, this state of EASE persists! I live it every moment of the day; it has become my DEFAULT STATE OF BEING.
And yet, what is the price of this ease? What is the cost of enjoying this level of health and fitness?
I Choose Hard. And those "discomforts" of Hard are short-term and transient. Fleeting ghosts.
1) I choose Hard: I banish screens from my bed.
2) I choose Hard: Iโm in bed and ready for sleep by 10:30 PM.
3) I choose Hard: I do not eat three hours before bedtime.
4) I choose Hard: I regularly exercise, lift weights, jump rope, and stretch.
5) I choose Hard: I eat a mostly plant-based diet and avoid processed junk and fast food.
6) I choose Hard: I don't drink alcohol.
Each "HARD" I choose is a temporary sacrifice-- a fleeting discomfort that doesn't last. The result? I get EASE as a permanent state of being.
The question is... how much MONEY would you pay for an extra 10 QUALITY YEARS of life?
I mean 10 years of whatever stirs your soul: Travel, pickleball, skiing, time with the grandkids...
$500K? $5 million? $10 million?
Whatever the number, THAT PRICE CANNOT BE PAID WITH MONEY, IT MUST BE PAID WITH HARD.
Of course, none of this might matter.
I could get hit by a bus tomorrow or struck down by some random disease. ๐ฎ๐ฐ
But the point is twofold:
1) Iโm putting the probability and the odds in MY FAVOR.
2) Iโm making the hard choices and accepting temporary sacrifices so I can endure EASE every minute of the day. That Ease is not felt for a weekend or a few days a monthโit's felt EVERY. DAMN. MOMENT.
Eventually, that โfuture selfโ will become your โpresent selfโ and that person will either suffer or savor. My present self THANKS my past self for its hard choices.
Of course, this goes beyond health; it applies to every facet of your existence. Your career. Your finances. Your relationships.
What Hard investment are you refusing to make right now? By dodging the cost today, you are forcing โfuture youโ to pay the bill for your current negligence.
Choose Hard so you may Live Easy. But of course, it's your choice, your move, and your life.

HOW TO PREDICT YOUR SUCCESS (OR FAILURE)... ๐งโโ๏ธ
The following is a direct excerpt from my new book, Choose Hard, Live Easy - The Art of War for Decision-Making
For the last 17 years, Iโve led a community of aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners. Millions (yes, millions) of people have visited, posted, and contributed, hoping to start a business that creates generational wealth. During that time, Iโve become a Nostradamus at predicting failure.
Whenever a new user posts, I can tell immediately whether they have what it takes to succeed in business. No, I donโt have a magic jar of tea leaves; I can smell the parasite of Expectosis as if I were a bloodhound. I see dead people? No, I see entrepreneurs who will never survive.
How do I do it? And how can you leverage the same knowledge to predict your own success or failure?

The ultimate cure for low self-esteem and depression...
Learn something new.
Figure out a problem.
Choose Hard.
And then when you're on top of the mountain of the problem you just solved, OBSERVE how you feel.
Feel that rush? That high?
That's achievement.
Confidence.
The feeling that you can DO ANYTHING with the right process and effort.
As I wrote in Choose Hard, Live Easy - I've been learning jump rope and various skills related to such.
There's few things more intoxicating than realizing you couldn't do X yesterday, but you can do X today.
In video game terms, here's what you're doing to your IRL game character...
๐ Self-esteem: +1.
๐ Experience +1.
๐ Endurance +1 (In the jump rope case)
๐ Wisdom +1.
๐ Intelligence +1
๐ Anti-Quit Modality +1
There is no better level-up in life.
Continue learning, continue leveling up. Continue building a mental framework that you can DO ANYTHING.
One year ago, I couldn't do a simple basic forward jump rope.
But I Chose Hard.
And now a 56 year old gray-haired semi-old man is practically hip-hopping through a jump rope.
Choose Hard. And Live Easy.

One chart explains how you create wealth fast. ๐๐ธ
Look at this graphic. This is the Wealth Window.
Itโs a predictable, repeating cycle where early adoption meets massive opportunity. Every few years, the window cracks open, a new batch of millionaires sprints through, and then the latch clicks shut.
Choose Hard is a big cheat code, but only if you recognize, exploit, and direct it into a Wealth Window.
Deployed in the wrong system? It is just inefficient.
As I like to say, you could run faster than Usain Bolt if you put him on a tricycle. The tricycleโthe systemโis the negative leverage that hinders his output.
Wealth operates under the same construct.
Yes, leverage Hard, but leverage it in the right system.
No amount of โHardโ will help you win a race saddled to a tricycle, while everyone is driving automobiles.
Wealth isnโt just about the Hard, but about taking advantage of Wealth Windows: Opportunities in **timing** and **temporary asymmetric leverage** that occur every few years or decades.
Right now, AI is that window.
Itโs bigger than the internet. Itโs bigger than the steam engine and electricity.
And no, you don't need to start an "AI company." You just need to stop using a mule/plow while your competition is using a tractor.
Read the full breakdown and see why the "experts" calling this HYPE are the same ones who said the car was a "novelty" in 1903:

A lot of you asked me over the years to return to YouTube and I have. This is my first video in 4 years.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQTAVn99oYE
I plan to do a few videos per month in the realms of Fastlane business, decision-making, and entrepreneurship. Maybe even a few AI takes. Please subscribe if you want to level-up your life and learn from someone who is truly living in the top 10% of the 1% life.
My social media absense was a personal decision that helped me level up in all aspects of life.
I still plan to avoid a lot of social media, but I realize YouTube is venue I shouldn't be ignoring โ it was the one social media channel I visited often to learn things, hence, testing my Standing Order. IMO, YouTube is a great asset, or it could be great hindrance, or as I say in the video, a hammer to your brain. Like every thing, every moment of your life โ this is a choice.
Enjoy!

Most people manage their money with forensic obsession. They comparison-shop for a dollar off gas, agonize over a $12 streaming subscription, and can tell you within a few bucks what's sitting in their checking account.
Yet, those same people will gamble away something infinitely more scarce, and do so without blinking.๐
In my latest video, I offer you a coin flip that could potentially save your life from an encounter with a murderer and a rapist (you'll have to watch the video to find out), but here are the two risk profiles for winning or losing your coin flip...
๐ Option A: Risk $1 to win $43,200 ...
๐ Option B: Risk $43,200 to win $1?
The answer feels obvious when the currency is money. ๐ฐ๐ฐ
But the entire point โ the reality check hiding inside the question โ is that you're already choosing Option B, betting staggering amounts of currency for little return... every single day.
You're not doing it with cashโ you're doing it with time. โฐ
The gym story I showcase is the kind that permanently rewires your mental circuitry.
Here's the short version: A guy skips a 10-second detour to grab a sanitation wipe. He saves one moment and grabs some sweaty, virus-infected handles. He loses five days to illness โ 43,200 moments โ along with workouts, income, PTO, and a weekend with his kids that never gets rescheduled. The math is horrifying: a 4.3 million % NEGATIVE RETURN on a single, invisible decision.
One question and one word will help you make some great bets, while avoiding the bad ones:
The question is disarmingly simple: IS THIS DECISION ASYMMETRICAL?
Asymmetry plays the starring role in my newest book, Choose Hard, Live Easy, while it had supporting roles in my prior books.
Asymmetry -- the upside and downside variety-- is the four-syllable word that has built every empire and dug every grave worth examining.
But this question does more than expose the obvious landmines like speed-racing your motorcycle at 90 while tailgating, but the sneaky asymmetry, the kind that compounds: The 3 donuts for breakfast. The one-hour lunch spent rotting your brain on TikTok.
๐กThe 99% track dollars: They know betting $50K to win a buck is stupid.
โก๏ธThe 1% track moments: We know betting 50,000 moments to win 1 is stupid.
You can rebuild a bank account. You cannot rebuild a decade spent in the wrong city, the wrong body, or the wrong life.
Watch the full breakdown below.
๐ Your first asymmetric decision is here...
The next 17 minutes you spend watching this video might save you 17 days, 17 weeks, 17 months, or 17 years. In other words, you'll be betting 17 to win thousands, perhaps, millions.
Make the good bet, or ignore it like the 99%.
