Dear Law School Students, I’m Tedros Negash, 4th-year law student who’s passionate about people, justice, and making sure every student feels seen, heard, and valued.

Over the past 4 years, I’ve served as Class Representative, Secretary & Public Affairs Officer for Student council, and even Interim President of our Law Students Association. Through it all, one thing has guided me: the belief that leadership means service.

I’m running because I care deeply about building a student council that stands for fairness, dignity, and inclusion. A council that speaks up for those who feel left out. One that lifts up women’s voices, defends the vulnerable, and turns ideas into action—like better academic support, mental health services, and real student involvement in decisions that affect us all.

I’m excited to be nominated as a candidate for the presidency of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSAH), representing the Sociology and Social Anthropology department.

I kindly ask for your support and vote. I have gained leadership experience since my highschool days by leading school clubs and when I came here by representing the class. And also I hosted AAU community radio show programs that touches in to university presssing issues, I also facilitated welcoming events of the campus before. I have been also involved in diffrent extracurricular activities.

I’m not here to promise the impossible things to achieve in one year.

But I’m here to stay real and be present.

መንግስት ከመስከረም 2018 ጀምሮ ለመንግሥት ሠራተኛው ተጨማሪ የደመወዝ ማሻሻያ ለማድረግ መወሰኑ ተነገረ፡፡

በዚህ ማሻሻያ መሰረት

1. ዝቅተኛው የመንግሥት ሠራተኛ ደመወዝ ከብር 4760 ወደ ብር 6,ዐዐዐ እንዲያድግ ይደረጋል፡፡ 

2. ከፍተኛው የመንግሥት ሠራተኛ ደመወዝ ከብር 21,492 ወደ ብር 39,000 እንዲያድግ ይደረጋል፡፡ 

3. የዲግሪ ተመራቂ መነሻ ደመወዝ ከብር 6,940 ወደ ብር 11, 500 ይሻሻላል። 

4. ከሲቪል ሰርቪስ ውጭ በተለያዩ ዘርፎች የተሠማሩ የመንግሥት ሠራተኞች ደመወዝም ማሻሻያ ይደረግበታል፡፡
  
ይህ የደመወዝ ማስተካከያ ከ160 ቢሊዮን ብር በላይ ተጨማሪ በጀት ጠይቋል የተባለ ሲሆን፡፤ ይሄም ለደመወዝ የሚወጣውን ጠቅላላ ዓመታዊ የመንግሥት ወጪ 56ዐ ቢሊዮን ብር ያደርሰዋል መባሉን ፋና ዘግቧል።
