It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for the celebration of the (Fiche Chembelala Festival) a vibrant and culturally rich event.

Fiche Chembelala is a festival that celebrates the end of the rainy season and the beginning of a new year, filled with hope, joy, and community spirit. The event will feature traditional music, dance, and a variety of cultural performances that showcase the rich heritage of our nation.

As part of the celebration, attendees will have the opportunities to enjoy “Burisame (Shafeta)” a traditional Sidama dish, along with water. Additionally, traditional clothing will be offered to those who attend, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the cultural experience.

We are honored to announce that we will be joined by distinguished guests, Honorable Dr. Shimales Gizew, Dr. Shiferew Mulata, Dr. Shibiru, and Kidist Matheows, who will grace the occasion with their presence. This adds an extra layer of significance to our celebration, and we are thrilled to have such esteemed individuals share in our festivities.

We encourage all students to attend and immerse themselves in the festivities. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Ethiopian culture, connect with fellow students, and promote harmony. Please arrive on time to ensure you don’t miss any part of the celebration.
