Former River City star Iain Robertson has been jailed for nine years for raping a woman and assaulting two others.
The 45-year-old, who played Stevie O'Hara in the BBC soap, was last month found guilty of five offences between 2004 and 2019.
Robertson, who won a BAFTA for his performance in the 1996 Glasgow gang film Small Faces, also starred in Grange Hill, Rab C. Nesbitt, and Steven Spielberg's Band of Brothers.
The Judge told him his offending had involved "violence, coercion, intimidation, and sexual abuse".

A failed asylum seeker who raped a 14-year-old schoolgirl says he can't be deported back to Egypt - because he is bisexual and he would be persecuted in his home country.
Karam Majdi, 27, is going to be deported after serving half of his seven year sentence for the sex attack on the girl he met online in 2017.
Majdi is alleged to have lied and said he was an unaccompanied child from Syria who had been fighting in Aleppo when he arrived in the UK by small boat in 2016.
He claimed his family had paid for his passage to Britain and paid for his solicitor during his asylum claim.

I have been watching slop of late.
The Walking Dead which got boring after the 8th season and utterly unwatchable.
What stands out is just the sheer jewishness of it all.
In many ways it is amazing we still have a mildly functioning society considering all the subversion people face.
I will break this down more on the show tonight but the fundamental essence of it all is that every strong White Male must be destroyed.
Take the Negan character, a strong individual doing what needs to be done to survive.
Total chad.
Look how he ends up.
With an African.
Same as Rick Grimes.
There isn't one non-mixed race couple at the end.

Refugee Dilgash Adil, 32, plied the 18-year-old with drink until she was 'falling down' drunk, a court heard.
After carrying out a sex assault he 'invited' his friend, asylum seeker Diyar Mohammed Abdulsalm, 28, to also rape the teenager, Chester Crown Court heard.
The young woman kept blacking out during the sex attack after she travelled back with the men to Abdulsalm’s accommodation in a house of multiple occupancy (HMO) in Winsford, Cheshire, on December 21, 2025.
Both men claimed the woman consented to sex and denied rape but were convicted after a trial ending last month.
Adil, who was a shepherd in his native Syria before the civil war and was granted refugee status after coming to the UK in 2020, was convicted of one count of rape.
