An 'Asylum Seeker' in France has been jailed for sexually assaulting five goats and a lamb.

A 19-year-old man has been sentenced to prison after he "raped" six animals, resulting in the death of one, at an animal sanctuary and educational farm in France. Known only as Massoud S, he declared himself a "normal person" to the court.

The Afghan-born asylum seeker denied all charges during the trial at the Aix-en-Provence courthouse, despite police apprehending him in the act behind a goat, wearing latex gloves.

The abuse took place between February and April of this year at Le Refuge d'un Moment animal sanctuary and educational farm in Pennes-Mirabeau, near Marseille.
