A mother who "lost her temper" and killed her three-month-old daughter has been jailed for nine-and-a-half years.
Nazli Merthoca gave birth to Kaylani Kalanzi prematurely, and the newborn had to spend 29 days in hospital before she was allowed home on May 13 2024.
The infant was on social services' radar before she was even born, and had been placed on a child protection plan, the Old Bailey was told.

Donald Trump has launched an attack on film director Rob Reiner.
The US president said in a post on Truth Social: "A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood.
"Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.
"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.

The former prime minister, who was chancellor at the time, said it "wasn't going to be possible to save every person's job".
But he said the government was "successful in preventing mass unemployment" and the impact of the pandemic on employment was "considerably better than what anyone had forecast at the early stages of the pandemic".
Sunak also said there was "not a playbook" to deal with the economic shock caused by Covid, with ministers "dealing with something no one had dealt with before".

Bus passengers leapt into action and saved a teenage girl from being kidnapped by a Sudanese migrant as she walked home.
The 17-year-old victim was walking alone after finishing a shift at a theatre when she was followed by Abdulmawal Ibrahim Adam.
Adam tried to engage the teenager in conversation before continuing to target her aggressively as she desperately tried to flag down passing cars for help.
Terrifying footage shows Adam attempting to grab the petrified young woman and drag her across the road as she tried to break free.
But the scuffle and her screams are noticed by hero bus passengers who jump off and come to her rescue - chasing her would-be kidnapper away.
Those members of the public have now been commended for their bravery after stopping the attempted kidnap in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Scotland's Jewish community is calling for new measures to be brought in by Holyrood to tackle the appalling rise in anti-semitism in the country.
The call comes as it was revealed that many Jews are considering leaving Scotland and resettling abroad due to the fears for their safety.
Sammy Stein, Glasgow Friends of Israel, said "This kind of event does not just happen in a vacuum. We need to have guards outside our synagogues. We need to have guards outside our primary schools."
Mr Stein continued: "Of course, people are afraid. They are terrified, because the calls for hate and intimidation have been allowed to grow without being checked. People have to be stopped when they are standing in the street calling for hate to fester against Jewish people."
