1...Ne7!
In a fixed pawn center activating or exchanging the relatively inferior bishop is of prime importance. With the text move black wants to activate his bishop by playing Bf5 on the next move. After Bf5 black's bishop will seem more active than Bb3, So white can try to exchange bishops by playing 2.Qb1 Bf5 3.Bc2; however, black has a tiny advantage after the exchange of bishops as a relatively better bishop has remained for him.

Unfortunately, our last hope, Wesley So lost to Ding Liren in semi-final of the world cup. That being said, this makes Ding Liren the first Chinese man ever qualifying for the world championship candidate! On a good note also, Wesley can still qualify through yearly rating ranking. We also have Fabiano Caruana who happens to be leading the candidate rating list!
Right now is happening: Aronian is playing the first game of blitz games against MVL ( Maxim Vachier Lagrave). The Armenian is in complete control and has good advantage! Follow the games online on chessbomb.com or other available online streaming websites!
A nerve-wrecking draw! Aronian was winning then he blundered and MVL was then totally winning but time pressure once again took its toll and squared matters among these two chess giants. Is it going to be the last game of the match or we might see an Armageddon soon?!
