This game is a great resource to study initiative and counter-attack. Rodshtein was better and maybe even close to win right out of the opening. However, he failed to grasp the tempo of the game and as a result of his passive play Fedossev managed to prevail. So, chess is not only a game! It is a sport where right understanding each game's strategy is necessary! In this game Rodshtein is the one who needs to win but he plays passive while Fedossev plays a fearless and complicated chess!
