Leinier Dominguez wins an important game with Black against Pentala Harikrishna, closing in on pool D leader Wesley So, who drew against Shirov; he is now only half a point behind.
Pool C already has a winner, Levon Aronian, while Americans Hikaru Nakamura and Wesley So are also strong favourites to win pools A & D respectively; but pool B remains wide open before the last round!

At the Havana olympiad 1966 Fischer had a winning position against Spassky, but the game ended in a draw. The story goes that after the game Fischer pointed out an "improvement", but Spassky quickly refuted it. After that Fischer was so upset that he said: He got embarrassed.
