Morozevich reached World #2 on the FIDE rating list in 2008. Yurkov, a noted trainer, also numbered Yuri Balashov, Yuri Razuvaev & Andrei Sokolov among his pupils.

That is a rare one! Elated Kasparov in Leningrad-1975. 12-years-old Garik praised by Botvinnik. Soon-to-become GM Vladimir Bagirov who also hailed from Baku is the third person I can recognize on this fabulous picture.
