Not only has Alireza won #GrandSwiss2021 (and therefore qualified for #FIDECandidates2022) but he's also World top #5 now - and he's only 18! His tournament performance was 2855! Amazing results for Firouzja!

The 2021 FIDE http://Chess.com Women's Grand Swiss concluded today. Lei Tingjie emerged as the winner and qualified for the Women's Candidates. Elisabeth Paehtz was 2nd, Zhu Jiner 3rd and Mariya Muzychuk 4th; all four qualify for the next Women's Grand Prix series. ππ
