من شادی پری در ، انسان پیچیده ای نیستم. من ۲۷ سال از ۳۴ سال عمری که از خدا گرفتم رو صرف خدمت به شطرنج و کشورم کردم ، عاشقانه ایران و بچه های این سرزمین رو دوست دارم و برای گرفتن حق این بچه ها تا آخرین روز می‌جنگم. به خوبی آموخته ام که هر بازی را با قواعد صحیح ، مشروع و مبتنی بر مفاهیم معنوی آغاز کنم و تا انتها ادامه دهم و هرگز به قیمت برد ، شرافت ، اعتبار و منزلت انسانی خویش را ذبح نکنم.
اما چه کنم که نمی توان توقع داشت همگان درک کامل و سلیمی از این موضوع و اهمیت آن داشته باشند.
اکنون بیش از هر زمان دیگر بر این باورم :
به قطار بی حرکت کسی سنگ‌نمیزند
به امید روزهای روشن برای شطرنج ایران عزیز
