💙 | During the football match of the Grandmasters, more than 100 children from primary schools and chess associations in the region played the traditional chess simultaneously at Telstar. Telstar players Redouan El Yaakoubi, Annas Najah and Shayne Pattinama also played a game of chess with the children.

Chess great Magnus Carlsen made history Tuesday as he extended his unbeaten run to 111 successive classical games, breaking the 110-game streak set by Sergei Tiviakov in 2005.

Congratulations to Critical Thinking Movie for getting in to SXSW! World Premier at the Austin, Texas film festival this March. Critical Thinking is directed by and stars John Leguizamo. It is about an urban high school from Miami that won the 1998 NHS Championship.
