Artemiev came from nowhere to tie for 2nd place in the World Rapid Championship after playing only a couple of top players - he's not doing such a good job of sneaking up on his rivals this time, as he takes the sole lead! :)
Carlsen's excellent score against Mamedyarov in blitz continues: The World Champion scores his 5th (or 6th counting armageddon) straight win against the Azerbajani and is now on 6,5/8 in World Blitz Ch.
Round 8 highlights include Jobava-Carlsen and Nakamura vs. sole leader Artemiev!
Some nice tricks with the passed a-pawn as Carlsen gets his bishop to e1 and beats Jobava!
