We are thrilled to announce that Vladimir Kramnik will take part in the World Rapid & Blitz Championship, to be held in Moscow from December 25th to 30th, 2019.
Since announcing his retirement last January, Kramnik has dedicated most of his time to mentoring young chess talents, but he made a brief return in blitz during a tournament in Amsterdam last August. His presence in Moscow will be a treat for his many fans all over the world!
Venue for King Salman World Rapid & Blitz Championships is announced. The event will be held in the VIP zone of the Grand Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, the largest sports and entertainment complex in Russia.

The official hotel of the King Salman Rapid & Blitz Championships is Radisson Collection Hotel Moscow, historically known as "Hotel Ukraina". This building is one of the seven legendary skyscrapers from the soviet times.
