FIDE Fischer Random World Chess Championship 2022
Fischer Random Chess, also called Chess960, is a variant of chess invented by former world chess champion Bobby Fischer. It uses the same board and pieces as standard chess, but the starting position of the pieces on the players' home ranks is randomized.
In the match for bronze of World Fischer Random Championship, the fight is fierce. The first game was won by Fabiano Caruana, but Ian Nepomniachtchi came back in the second so the score is tied at 3-3. Each "slow rapid game" weights 3 points for a win.
