Shamkir Chess 2019 is a 10-player single round-robin held in memory of Vugar Gashimov. The 6th edition of the tournament in Shamkir, Azerbaijan runs from 30 March to 9 April 2019 and features World Champion Magnus Carlsen. The total prize fund is β¬100,000, with β¬30,000 for first place.
