Andor Lilienthal (1911-2010) was a Russian-Hungarian GM (1950). He played against 10 world champs (beating Lasker, Capablanca, Alekhine, Botvinnik, & Smyslov). He died in Budapest 3 days after he turned 99. He was the last surviving member of the 27 original GMs in 1950.

Amsterdam, 21st June 1964. In the 23rd & final round of the FIDE Interzonal, tournament leaders Vasily Smyslov & Bent Larsen face one another. The game was drawn, so that Spassky & Tal (who both won) joined them in 1st-4th place.

She started to play chess at the very early ages and was the Winner of the World Youth Chess Championship in 1991, in section Girls Under 16. Nino Khurtsidze was also twice the World Junior Girls Chess Championship, in 1993 and 1995.
π³ Besides the triumphs on the world and European chess scenes, Nino Khurtsidze had many accomplishments on the various events and open tournaments, as well as in the national Georgian events. She was the five times womenβs Georgian Champion, in years: 1989, 1993, 2005, 2006 and 2013.
