IM Edward Lasker (1885-1981) wrote about chess, checkers, & Go. He was the founder of the American Go Association in 1934 & was the author of GO & GO Moku. He got Emanuel Lasker interested in Go. When Emanuel Lasker died his Go set was presented to West Point Military Academy.

She competed in the Women's World Championship (2008) in Nalchik where she reached the second round before bowing out to Dronavalli Harika. She also competed in the Women's World Chess Championship (2010) and made it to the third round, but was eliminated from the tournament by Ju Wenjun.
