More than a thousand schoolchildren in Shenzhen Road Primary School (Liaocheng, Shandong Province of China) gathered on the playground to play chess on April 15.

Chess has been in this school’s curriculum for 3 years. This is the second edition of the "Liangzhi Cup" held among its pupils. "We hope that every student will develop from a pawn to a queen, like in chess, continuing to reap success and achieve their personal best," said Song Demin, the school's principal.
