FIDE & Cook County Sheriff's Office (USA) have signed a cooperation agreement, and together we are launching the “𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺” program.

The project will kick off with an online conference and an exhibition tournament on May 11.

Shri K.Viswanathan, father of Five time-world champion Viswanathan Anand passed away on 15th April, 2021.

He was 92 years old and breathed his last at a city hospital.
"He was a great support to Anand. He witnessed all of Anand’s world championship victories," said Anand's wife Aruna to The Hindu. "A simple man, he made sure his son had the right values. He took great pride in his achievements."
