Alireza Firouzja won the 2021 #BulletChess Championship presented by SIG. The Iranian super-GM first eliminated top favorite Hikaru Nakamura in the semifinals and then was too strong for Andrew Tang in the final:

I just saw small example from Karpov's game versus Yusupow played in 1986! The whole concept looks very familiar.
