Upcoming Tuesday, Match 23, will mark 90 years since Viktor Korchnoi's birthday.

Korchnoi played this game against Robert Byrne at Sousse Interzonal in 1967. White just carelessly played 28. Qc3. Can you finish the game for the legend?

Another (uncredited) photo found on-line, where, based on the chessboard, the negative has evidently been reversed. This one shows Judit Polgar in play v. Leonid Yudasin, at, I believe, the rapid tournament in Oviedo, 1993. (The late Lembit Oll can be seen standing by Yudasin.)

Fresh from his qualification for the 1985 FIDE Candidates, Seirawan shared 1st-3rd place with Boris Spassky & Joel Benjamin, winning the event on tie-break.

This is Esmeralda, from Sweden. She is 5 years and 3 months old, and this weekend she played her very first chess competition.

Judging from the photos that her proud mum posted at the "Svenskt Schack" forum, she had a great time!
