Draw agreed, and in half an hour Anish Giri will play Jorden van Foreest in an all-Dutch playoff for the #TataSteelMasters title!
In the end Firouzja only draws to join the tie for 3rd place, though even a win wouldn't have given him a place in the playoff!

Such a shame for #TataSteelChess . The arbiters preparing the completely dutch tie-break, are apparently distracting Alireza Firouzja while he’s not finished his game in a better position for him. Informed he has not s chance for tie-break, Alireza agreed to a draw.
