An awesome Sicilian Najdorf with young talent and Grandmaster
Prodigy did a solid opening and started a very good attack in the king side. In the other hand, grandmaster worked hard to equalize the game.
GM Oleg Romanishin (Ukraine) turns 69 today! One of the most creative players of his generation, outstanding player who beat several World Champions and qualified to Candidates, he still plays a lot. A training partner of Tal, he later was a coach of Indian Women Olympic Team.

#OnThisDay 135 years ago, the first game of the first official #chess world championship was played. The match between the eventual winner Wilhelm Steinitz and Johannes Zukertort started on January 11, 1886 in Cartier's Hall on Fifth Avenue in New York.
