The first game "The Great and Terrible Harry" lost to Boris in the USSR Championship in 1981. The next year, another game in the USSR Cup. Then in Linares ... It was not possible to recover completely. Boris Gulko is the champion of the USSR and the USA!

Teimour Radjabov leads the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour after the first two events, with World Champion Magnus Carlsen with some work to do... for a change!
GM Michael Adams wins the Caplin British Online Chess Championship. 🏆 It is his 8th national title (he won the first in 1989!).

England's #1 beat IM Ameet Ghasi in a playoff for the title after both scored 7 out of 9 in the main event.
