Bobby Fischer with the Frank Marshall Trophy at the Marshall Chess Club in January 1964. The position on that massive cake is from his splendid 22-move win over Pal Benko, after 19.Rf6!!, in the tenth round on December 30, 1963 (Michael Ochs Archive).

At age 20, Bobby Fischer won the 1963–64 US Championship with 11 wins in 11 games, the only perfect score in the history of the tournament. A marvelous game where in Pirc defense Fischer goes for a rook sacrifice which not only block’s the f-pawn’s further advancement but also demoralizes the whole black army! A classical example of a block which will live forever!

Firouzja beats Tari and is now leading #NorwayChess with impressive 10 points. Considering the positions of the two remaining games, It may only be Aronian who overruns Firouzja.
