The good thing in chess is that very often the best moves are the most beautiful ones. The beauty of logic.

Chess has inspired artists for centuries. Famous painters, the likes of Henri Matisse, Paul Klee, Marcel Duchamp, chose #chess as a central theme of their artwork.

"The Chess Game" was created by French painter Charles Bargue in 1883. And what is your favorite chess #painting?

Move of the Day!
So many things about this. Tomorrow is 9-11. This is Garry Kasparov and Vishy Anand in 1995 on top of the World Trade Center. I was there at age 7 and remember Game 10 and Ng5 by Kasparov. Tomorrow the #Chess9LX by St Louis Chess Club starts with Kasparov playing, and me. Wow.
