The World School Chess Championship, which was scheduled to take place in Panama City on May 28 - June 7, is postponed. The new dates are November 1-11, 2020. The official hotel and playing venue remain the same.

6️⃣ The Tournament Entry Fee: $4 by Saturday night at 24:00, after that $10.
✅ Due to the current global situation, Unity Chess Club is offering a reduced entry fee to players in need. To register with the reduced fee, please email the tournament organizer: unitychess@gmail.com

GM, WGM, IM, WIM, FM, WFM
8️⃣ Participants will be provided with a link and password half hour before the competition begins.
9️⃣ The registration deadline is up to two hours before the tournament starts.

*️⃣ Note: Cash prizes are given to the top six places, ranked by Lichess.

Karpov vs Spassky 1974 candidates semi-final. The match took place in Leningrad. Spassky was a huge favourite but Karpov won the match 7-4 (+4 -1 =6).
Karpov advanced to Karpov-Korchnoi 1975 candidates final which was to be held in Moscow in 16th of september.
