Deep Blue (Computer) 🆚 Garry Kasparov
New York, NY USA: IBM Man-Machine: 1997.

1-0
Due to a mistake in the timing of U16 tournament on previous Sunday, while paying the prizes of that tournament, with respect to all participants, a rematch took place on Wednesday. The winners will be awarded the same prizes according to the regulations.

"The middlegame I repeat is chess itself, chess with all its possibilities, its attacks, defences, sacrifices, etc."

Larsen - Spassky is one of the gems of 1970 USSR vs Rest of the World match.
Black played very energetically. Can you find the elegant tactical blow that helped Spassky finish the game?

There is a well-known photograph of 15-year-old Bobby Fischer blitzing with Tigran Petrosian during his mid-1958 visit to the Moscow Central Chess Club. Here's another, lesser known and somewhat superior photograph taken from a different angle. https://patreon.com/urcan/posts
