27-year-old Ukrainian Grandmaster Stanislav Bogdanovich and Alexandra Vernigora were found dead in a Moscow flat, apparently after inhaling laughing gas (nitrous oxide). RIP

We've now included a full translation of Teimour Radjabov's statement explaining why he asked for the Candidates to be postponed due to the coronavirus and only withdrew when that proposal was rejected!
FIDE Director General Emil Sutovsky has responded to Radjabov's coronavirus worries and explains the phrase "personal reasons" as a means of sparing Teimour's blushes from any accusations of over-reacting:
