Game 3 of FIDE Women's World Championship Match 2020 ended in a hard fought draw

In a QGD Semi-Tarrasch variation, Goryachkina kept pushing for advantage and eventually got an extra pawn using tactics which was difficult for her to maintain in a Queen and Double Rook endgame as Ju defended perfectly. It liquidated into an equal Rook ending with Goryachkina regaining an extra pawn, but it was not enough to score a full point.

Ultimately a draw was agreed after 85 moves of long battle spanning almost four hours.

Game 4 will be played tomorrow

What does it take to have a good chess training camp? Two good trainers, 14 talented youngsters - should be all right? Well, if you thought that was true, you are missing an important point here. One of the most important things needed for a highly intensive training camp is the right environment. At the Microsense Kramnik Gelfand training program, great care has been taken that the right environment is provided to all the youngsters so that they can learn and improve. Check out this video where IM Sagar Shah gives you a feel of the environment at the Coastal Paradise - the venue of the training camp.
