πŸ”°Harika Dronavalli is an Indian chess grandmaster She has won three bronze medals in the Women's World Chess Championship, in 2012, 2015 and 2017. Dronavalli was honored with the Arjuna Award for the year 2007–08 by the government of India.

πŸ”°WGM (2004) and GM (2011). Harika is a bright young talent from India. Her achievements include conquering the world titles of World Youth Champion in 2006 (Girls Under-18) and U-14 Girls Champion in 2004. In 2007 Harika became the Women's Commonwealth Chess Champion. She added another feather to her cap, by becoming Women's World Junior Champion in 2008.
In 2011, Harika won her 3rd GM norm when she came second in the 1st Hangzhou Women's GM Tournament (2011) to become India's second female grandmaster. In August 2012, she came =3rd at the Hogeschool Zeeland Chess Tournament 2012 with 7/9, half a point behind the joint leaders. She competed in the FIDE Knock-Out Women's World Championship (2012) and defeated Indian WGM Soumya Swaminathan, Armenian GM Elina Danielian, Georgian IM and WGM Lela Javakhishvili, and Chinese GM Zhao Xue to reach the semi finals. There she met and lost to former Women's World Champion, Bulgarian GM Antoaneta Stefanova to bow out of the contest.
