Aron Nimzowitsch was the first one who played this form of Benoni. The main idea is playing e5 by the moves Nc4,a4,e4 and f4. At the end usually white bring his queenside rook into the game via a3. One of the Black idea to counter this is to play Nbd7 with the idea of countering Nc4 with Nb6.
