Football warm-up with an epic crypto crew in Dubai, alongside the Burj Khalifa(tallest building in the world).
Really enjoy this weekly game, together with many of the biggest YouTubers, traders and KOL(key opinion leaders) in the blockchain industry. Will film whilst playing next time.
Played regular football(soccer) till I was 18. At school, was on the first team of five teams, playing central midfield. Was not the most technically skilled player on the team, but likely the most fit/hard working on the pitch. Also, won the school cross country championship(5km/3miles).
One inspiring person in the football group is Chris Jaszcynski aka as MMCrypto, who was a taxi driver in 2017, then become a crypto trader and YouTuber, making billions with a strong community/following.
That is something cool about crypto - social/wealth mobility that you see in few other industries. His brother, Martin does a great job in organising logistics for the games.
Another is Joshua Johnson, friend for more than 8 years, who is putting land title/deeds on the blockchain with the government of UAE, Zanzibar and others.
Excited for these properties to be tokenised and tradable on the Unit Network. Josh is a $UNITCOIN holder, collaborating closely on $PROPERTYCOIN.
$FOOTBALLCOIN coming soon - focused on tokenising football based assets/businesses/players/clubs, and a future where the sport can bring more people together across borders, cultures and languages. The next Ronaldo or Messi, will be tokenised and on-chain. ⚽️

Epic meeting with Marc Benioff, Founder/Chairman/CEO of Salesforce, $268B enterprise software firm, 39th biggest company/business in the world.
Marc started Salesforce, after 13 years at Oracle, beginning as customer support. Before that, he interned at Apple, building the Macintosh computer.
I think what Salesforce did really well was taking a cloud first approach in the 2000s - pioneering internet based apps, and focusing on helping small and medium sized businesses, with tools to thrive and succeed.
He bought Time magazine in 2018, for $190m, and alongside runs VC firm Time Ventures - investing in early stage tech/AI/blockchain firms.
Huge respect for his social impact work, philanthropic endeavours - with his mission to plant 1 trillion trees!
Marc has a strong passion for Artificial Intelligence - he feels AI will replace humans from doing most engineering and software development work.
As well as the potential for AI agents to create trillions of dollars in value. Excited for how these AI beings interact with the token economy.
Think Unit Network can be the global value operating system and technology enabled token economy. So robots and AI can interact with each another, and with tokens representing value exchanged.
He also feels that what sets humans apart from AI is empathy and being able to feel.
Wrote my high school final paper, in 2011, on AI and philosophy, discussing whether a machine could be moral. Will share a link soon!

Nice walk around Union Square with Kevin Follonier, who runs popular Crypto Podcast, “When Shift Happens”, with 4.1m+ views.
Kevin is Swiss, based in Singapore. He has interviewed the biggest names in the crypto industry.
Weeks ago, he was first to interview Bybit CEO, Ben Zhou, after the $1.5B hack.
His vision is to be the “Joe Rogan of Crypto”. Curating industry leaders, with top notch production. With hours of research each interview.
I recently connected him with Solana founder, Anatoly Yakovenko and Polymarket founder, Shayne Coplan to be on the show. Look forward to watching. Will introduce to others.
We’ve been friends for 5+ years, met at 6am doing Sauna/Ice Baths in Bali, before work.
There, he invited me to be an early guest on the show. Now, 113 episodes later, proud of his consistency and success.
Grateful for his support as an early backer and investor of Unit Network, and $UNITCOIN holder.
One major inspiration of his is Steve Bartlett, of top podcast, DOAC(Diary of a CEO).
I first met Steve in 2013, he came to my office in London, when starting his agency, Social Chain, and pitched me to be his first client. Steve’s journey has been remarkable.
I’m excited to create more content, interviewing friends who have incredible stories.
We ran an education program, “Unit Masters” which was a success with over 15k graduates, interviewing many industry leaders.
Will focus on a high quality in-person podcast series, when Unit Network grows to several million active users and $UNITCOIN to a multi-billion valuation/market cap, in the year ahead.
My excitement around creating interview content, would be to learn from expert perspectives, sharing these unique insights with others! Looking forward to this.

Skype shuts down after 23 years! Once a major player. EBay acquired it for $2.8B in 2009, then Microsoft for $8.5B in May 2011.
Skype was a huge inspiration, coding my encrypted peer-to-peer video conferencing technology company, which I started in 2010 and sold in 2013.
With Skype founder, Niklas Zennström, 10 years ago (2015), at the Founders Forum. Was introduced to Niklas, by Telegram founder, Pavel Durov.
At 21, was building many of the technologies for the Founders Forum(FF), managing the community, kickstarted a competition with FF called, F Factor, for young entrepreneurs in the UK, £10k prize with tens of thousands of applicants.
The year prior(2014), sneaked into the event through the golf course, of the “Groove” hotel venue, 2hrs from London. Heard about the gathering from the head of the fund that I was working with, Wellington Partners, and Pavel of Telegram, where we spoke for hours.
One needed to be a founder of a $500m company to be invited to the Founders Forum at the time.
Invited Dina Radenkovic Turner, on the left, to join F Factor where she placed 3rd. Met her company’s chairman/leading entrepreneur, Martin Varsavsky, through the FF community.
Recently, she raised $73m as Founder/CEO of Gameto, redefining reproductive longevity. Improving women's reproductive health - from egg freezing, infertility, to menopause and lots more. Very impressive, noble and meaningful cause!
I coded a diabetics app with Dina, allowing patients to input their injection data, understand the Glycemic index of various foods, in order to improve their medical condition. Was the first and only medical tech app that I’ve ever built.
Xenia Tchoumi, on the right, was runner up to Ms Switzerland, speaks 6 languages, studied economics, built a successful media business, with many millions of fans/followers.
Spent time with Xenia in London, around this time, she was interested in technology, curious about getting into crypto.
Niklas, now runs Atomico Ventures, likely the leading VC in Europe, managing €3B, and recently raised $754m to invest in European technology firms.
I’m optimistic that the tech industry in Europe can improve. Think, there needs to be less regulation, lower taxes, more capital for entrepreneurs and successful case studies/inspirations in the region.

They just raised $75m in Bitcoin from Blockstream with the legendary, Adam Beck joining their board. Cool Unit Network cap too!
Komainu is one of the top digital asset custodians globally, which holds tens of billions of crypto on behalf of the biggest institutions in the world.
Met Seb in 2013 in London, where he was studying at UCL, classmates with my Thai friend “Boss”, who I went to boarding school with, in Guildford, Surrey (1hr south of London).
Seb, later lived in Russia and Hong Kong, before joining top Japanese bank, Nomura, managing over $450B.
There, he started up Nomura’s digital asset division, and established top Venture Capital fund, Laser Digital.
Together with his 3 brothers, he organises an epic party in his hometown, Venice, twice yearly, for Carnival(Feb) and Redentore(July), which I’ve attend which is really fun!
We’re looking to collaborate closely, to bring major institutional support to Unit Network, given their interest in tokenisation and Unit Network’s technology pioneering the token economy.

Celebrating George Mueller(Geo), who sadly passed away 4 years ago today, at 50 years old, from a sudden brain aneurysm.
George, on the left, was an amazing entrepreneur and community builder. He split the year between NYC for summer and Hong Kong for winter, where we often spent time!
A pioneer in LED technology, after studying at Carnegie Melllon, he founded “Color Kinetics” in 1997, which he sold to Philips in 2007 for $791m.
Later in 2008, he started and funded “Robot Heart” - the famous burning man collective.
Known for it’s “double decker school bus” with top of the line, funktion one speakers on the side, played on by some of the top DJs in the world.
This picture, was the last time we met up, in 2019 exactly 6 years ago today, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong.
Joined by Trent Barnes, from Australia, on the right, who runs top market maker, Zerocap and crypto VC Primal Capital.
Geo was raising capital for Cerebellum, with the idea of using artificial intelligence and machine learning to trade and make investments. Very pioneering and ahead of the times!
Working together with the CEO of Google X, Astro Teller and his brother, Gary Mueller.
Introduced him and his brother to my father, Paul, when he was on a fundraising roadshow to Singapore, where they met for lunch at the Tanglin Club.
We kept saying we should catch up and find ways to collaborate, then COVID happened, and then didn’t see him again.
Geo had an epic jacuzzi on the balcony in mid levels in Hong Kong, which overlooked the city which he often invited me to.
Just something to think about, to treasure the precious time with others, and appreciate their presence! Have a great week ahead! :))

Enjoyable tennis game with Kieren James-Lubin, CEO of Blockapps, raised $62m, providing enterprise blockchain infrastructure. Love playing tennis, since I was 7.
Blockapps has a similar mission to Unit Network, bringing real world assets/businesses onto blockchain.
Kieren studied Math at Princeton, instrumental to Ethereum at launch in 2015, and helped set up the successful Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.
Kieren’s father Joseph is a long time friend. He’s the co-founder of Ethereum, and CEO of Consensys, which builds blockchain software like Metamask.
In 2017, at the first blockchain hackathon in Waterloo, Canada, Joseph was kind, to let me stay with him, and worked non-stop till 3am, up at 7am daily.

The hackathon, ETHGlobal, set up by friend Liam Horne(Vitalik’s uni roommate), was key to grow ETH’s dev ecosystem. Liam founded OPStack too, powering all Ethereum L2 blockchains(e.g Base).
2017 was wild. Ethereum started below $8. Shot up to $1397 by year-end, crashing to $80 in 2018, after ICO mania.
Bitcoin started 2017 below $800, ended at $19.5k, dropping to $3k in 2018.
Price volatility of crypto is extreme, but it’s clear the industry is only getting bigger.
I’m convinced it’ll grow 1000 times. $100m per Bitcoin. Exciting times ahead!

Blockapps has a similar mission to Unit Network, bringing real world assets/businesses onto blockchain.
Kieren studied Math at Princeton, instrumental to Ethereum at launch in 2015, and helped set up the successful Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.
Kieren’s father Joseph is a long time friend. He’s the co-founder of Ethereum, and CEO of Consensys, which builds blockchain software like Metamask.
In 2017, at the first blockchain hackathon in Waterloo, Canada, Joseph was kind, to let me stay with him, and worked non-stop till 3am, up at 7am daily.

Fun dinner party at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach with two of the most influential people in the world, US president, Donald Trump and Tesla/Doge/Space X founder, Elon Musk, few tables away. Managed only to take a few videos given strict no filming/picture policy.
Quite incredible, that despite working non-stop, they made the time to have a 5 hour dinner till past midnight. US president Trump was DJ, using Spotify on his iPad throughout the night.
Trump lives between Mar-a-Lago and the White House in DC. I met his father in law, Viktor Knavs(First lady Melania’s dad) the following day too. Memberships at Mar-a-Lago are now up to $2m, up from $200k a decade ago, with a limited 500 member community.
Met Elon in Berlin, in April 2022, at a dinner hosted by my friend Sacha, for Elon’s college roommate, Adeo Ressi, 50th birthday, where I helped with curating the intimate guest list.
Then, went to the iconic Kitkat club after dinner, which was fun. The following week, he acquired Twitter for $44B. Think with the acquisition by xAI, will be a huge success.
Despite not being American, pleased with the US election due to the positive sentiment towards global crypto. Excited for the innovation of the US government with less bureaucracy and wastage.
Hope all governments can take the approach of being more lean, and focused on innovation, lower income/corporate taxes for individuals/businesses too.

Great meeting with Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA. He’s going to be launching the $FIFACOIN soon, with the intention to bring on board the 5 billion soccer fans globally, to the token economy.
Invited my father, Paul, to the 2022 World Cup in Doha, where we saw England lose in a close game to France, before playing an epic final against Argentina, led by Lionel Messi.
In 2010, my dad took me around South Africa to watch England play in the World Cup, visiting Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
The year prior(2009), I had bid on the FIFA ticket lottery, with my online poker profits, and surprised him when we won tickets.
We saw the huge upset, where Germany beat England(4-1), and the tournament later was won by Spain, led by Andrés Iniesta.
The FIFA Club World Cup in Miami is soon, from June 14 to July 13 2025, bringing together the top 32 football clubs from around the world.
Looking forward to the FIFA World Cup next year in 2026 in the United States.

This photo was taken about six months ago — November 15th, 2024 — bumped into you by chance walking out of a restaurant on the streets of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. I was only in town for a few days, and somehow our paths crossed again.
We first met nearly 5 or 6 years ago, back in 2019 or 2020, at my good friend Marek’s house in Berlin. You were in town visiting Gavin Wood, and spoke candidly about how you helped fund both Ethereum and Polkadot in their early days.
Since then, we’ve shared great moments in Zurich, Davos, St. Moritz, and NYC — and I always appreciated the Shabbat dinners you graciously invited me to.
It’s a real loss to see you go. I’ll never forget the wild stories you shared — from navigating business in pre-Soviet Russia to negotiating major deals with oligarchs in Africa.

Really fun poker game hosted by long-time friend, serial entrepreneur, and super investor Fabrice Grinda — who’s backed over 1,100 companies including Airbnb, Alibaba, and Palantir.
As always, the table was filled with top entrepreneurs and investors he brings together every quarter.
I first met Fabrice in Paris, when I was 18, at the Le Web Conference back in 2012, hosted my mutual friend Loic Le Meur. Fabrice was speaking about the sharing economy as a defining trend of the Web 2.0 era.
A couple of years later, while I was working with the Founders Forum in 2015, I remember him hosting an unforgettable after-party at his newly acquired NYC penthouse.
Now, a decade later, he’s selling it for $13M — complete with jaw-dropping views and an impressive art collection.
Fabrice also shared wild stories from his OLX days — the global classifieds giant he co-founded in 2006 and exited in 2014. The platform now generates over $3B in annual revenue.
He’s also recently become a father of two, and called it the best feeling in the world — even admitting he’s surprised by how much he enjoys it and looks forward to growing his family further.
As for the poker? A few lucky hands and I walked away with almost 3x my buy-in. Great cards, greater company.
Excited for Unit Poker, which is a decentralised heads-up(1vs1) Texas holdem poker game where 0.5% of each hand winnings go to $POKERCOIN holders.

He’s also recently become a father of two, and called it the best feeling in the world — even admitting he’s surprised by how much he enjoys it and looks forward to growing his family further.
As for the poker? A few lucky hands and I walked away with almost 3x my buy-in. Great cards, greater company.
Excited for Unit Poker, which is a decentralised heads-up(1vs1) Texas holdem poker game where 0.5% of each hand winnings go to $POKERCOIN holders.
The coolest thing is unlike poker sites/apps which are real-time, it’s turn-based/asynchronous so similar to the chess apps when each game/hand can take place over days.

Great meeting with Bermuda’s Premier, David Burt — a true pioneer in shaping the future of digital finance.
Bermuda is one of the most crypto-forward nations in the world. The government has built strong regulatory frameworks to support leading exchanges, wallets, and protocols.
Circle (issuer of USDC), BlockFi, and XBTO are just a few major players that chose to set up on the island.
With no income, capital gains, or corporate tax, it’s an attractive destination for crypto builders and investors.
David created Hitch — Bermuda’s local ride-sharing app. It works smoothly, creates jobs, and shows what’s possible in regions underserved by global tech platforms.
Will be interesting to see how Unit Drive can draw inspiration from this.
The Unit Drive model pays 95% of ride fees directly to drivers, while the remaining 5% is shared with the $DRIVECOIN community — creating real ownership and alignment.
Being decentralized and permissionless also means it naturally integrates with AI agents and autonomous vehicles.
