One of the dreams that an aspirant has is to clear the exam and get a chance to take your parents and family for a felicitation ceremony hosted by the Honorable Governor or Chief minister.
Somehow I was not able to do that. N I have made my peace with that.

But, the proudest moment for a mentor is when any of his students clears the exam, goes to the same felicitation ceremony by the honorable governor, stands on the stage, and gives you the credit, takes your name. Trust me it is not just a moment of pride, but a moment of goosebumps, a moment of emotions.

Today, when my student IAS EHTEDA sent me a short clip of her recent felicitation ceremony, I got emotional.
She did something, said some words there at the stage in front of all the rankers and the honorable governor and ministers that means the world to me.

I once said in one of my lectures that Credit given in private means nothing. It is the public acknowledgement that is the most important.
This year I have been lucky and fortunate enough to have such amazing rankers and toppers around me, who are so honest that they have not shyed away from openly acknowledging things.

In that list, AIR 51 Dr. Neha comes on to the forefront.
Dr. Neha was one of the most consistent and dedicated members of our Mains Initiative last year. She referred to nowhere else for mains, but US.
She secured 515 marks in GS & Essay in her very first attempt and then a spectacular rank 51
