Studying consistently for 12-14 hours a day for months and months.
Dedicated prep for 2 years,

Still i couldn't clear back to back prelims.

I am giving you a very important learning here that will save your attempt. You have been committing this mistake in your previous attempts, now is the time to rectify it.

Now, let me address something very important related to the lecture.
Though I addressed this in the lecture, but still :

As long as you treat them as Tricks, Techniques, Elimination Methods, Guessing Methodologies, THEY WILL NEVER WORK FOR YOU.
THEY ARE BOUND TO FAIL AND YOU ARE BOUND TO FAIL.

Why?
Because under exam pressure you'll be highly sceptical, highly doubtful and highly confused regarding what to apply and what not to use.
This happens every year with thousands and thousands of aspirants. Aapke saath bhi hua hoga.

So what is the solution?
The solution lies not in knowing these so infamously called Tricks, Techniques, Methods. NO.
The solution lies in developing the overall "MCQ Aptitude"
When you read a question in the exam hall, you should not be thinking as to what trick to apply. No. That's a very wrong approach.
Rather when you read a question, you should directly see through the underlying tone, underlying traps and mistakes and conclude the right answer even without realising that you are applying certain methods here.
This should be your goal.
This is what you should achieve.
This should be the level of your MCQ Aptitude.

People who say that tricks didn't work for me in the examhall : obviously they didn't, they won't. Coz you are taking a shortcut. To giroge hi giroge. YOU ARE BOUND TO FALL AND FAIL.

People who say that UPSC also knows these tricks so it will change the paper : You are saying this because you are taking them as magic pills.
Magic pills nahi h ye,

UPSC kuch bhi kare, dega to MCQ hi na. Or MCQ solve karna aagya to baat hi khatam hogyi na fir to.

Steroids nahi, nutrition lijiye.
There are no shortcuts to places that are worth going. If you look for shortcuts, you are bound to get Cut Short.
