A heartbreaking and shocker of an accident.

A few days ago in Patel nagar
And now in the heart of UPSC prep in Karol bagh..
Students from far flung areas come to this city, live in tiny rat-holes called rooms, go to libraries to focus, spend not just loads of money but their days n nights working hard.

To what end? This!
This unfortunate disaster.
This absolute misfortunate catastrophe!!!!

This is not what they deserve.
This is not what their parents deserve.
This is not what aspirants deserve.

Blame games, responsibility shifting, mud throwing, opportunity grabbing, hue n cry sab ho jaega ab. Sab!!!

Par jo ye ho gaya h
Jinki jaan chali gayi h
Ya jinki jaan ja sakti thi, maybe seconds and inches se bach gayi h
Unka koi kya kar lega ab..
Bhooliye mat vo aapki meri tarah aspirants hi the, hum me se hi ek

My heart, my tears, my condolences, my prayers go out to all those whose lives were lost, to their parents n their family 🙏

Please jo bhi baaki log h, safe rahiye, apne flats apartments PGs me rahiye, precautions lijiye, caution exercise kariye, guidelines follow kariye.
Aapki Jaan se badhke to iss duniya me kuch bhi nahi h, let alone this exam.

Hello everyone,
There are few things which are absolutely Important for students, especially those who are on the ground with us

1. Don't let the movement slip into the hands of student political unions. This is an aspirant movement and it should remain the same.
Yesterday we saw how student political unions were trying to push their agendas. We spent hours yesterday trying to prevent this from happening.
The thing that is worrisome here is that they will take the movement on a different path altogether, maybe even try to make it violent, or say things like "Bharat mata ki jai ke naare kyun laga rahe ho". These things will disperse the movement.
The solution is to keep the movement together at that very spot, keep it nonviolent and keep the right demands.
Student political unions ko agar involve hona bhi h to sirf aspirants k sath khade hone k liye ho.

2. Please take care of yourself and your fellow aspirants. Jo aapki barabar me baitha hai vo bhi vahan isiliye h kyuki vo isme vishwas karta hai. Carry a water bottle with you. Though we will try to arrange, but for immediate purpose, carry one.

3. Salute & respect to each and every student who reached out, sat there and also to the ones who supported the movement online.
Yaad rakhiye aap iss baat se jaane jaate h ki aapne sahi waqt par sahi jagah hokar apni presence register karayi ki nahi.

4. Koi kuch bhi differences ho students k beech kitna bhi competition ho, but it is the most reassuring thing to see that for larger issues & for greater concerns, almost everyone came together. And i will always remember this unity till my last breath.

The police are removing students, not Letting them sit peacefully and even detaining some of them from the site.

I request all the students who are at the site to not engage in any sort of counteraction.
For any student who got detained, we are in talks with the authorities. Please stay calm.

Hello everyone,
I wish to share something personal with all of you.

Today I received a parcel from India Post at my residence. It was addressed to me and the sender details were written on the back of the envelope.
It came from a particular place in Uttrakhand.
At first I was a bit puzzled because I didn't know anyone by that name or from that place.

However once I opened it, I was so overjoyed and happy.
It had a letter and a Rakhi. It was sent to me by a student of mine (who's from this day onwards, my sister).
I believe the bond of a brother and sister to be very pure. It might not be expressive but it is very pure. I remember how I used to stay after the class in my school and college so that girls from my class could tie their Rakhi on my hand and I always felt so proud and happy that I had so many sisters.

But for the first time in my life, i received rakhi via post. The person who sent me the rakhi had never had a conversation with me ever, not even as a student. However she has been associated with US since the beginning.

I have always understood the responsibilities of a teacher very well but it is for the first time in all these years of teaching that i realised that a teacher has a responsibility of being a protector as well😅
A protector of a dream, or career or confidence or something else.
Thanku _ _ _ _ _ for making me realise this responsibility.
Thanku for taking all the effort of sending me this rakhi, writing me a letter, finding out my address, sending the post.

I'll wear it on my hand proudly!

Also, ek last cheez aur, There were many years in life, after my college when I had no one to send or tie a rakhi on my wrist. Haath soona hi rehta tha.
Aur bahut kharab lagta tha😅
So trust me boys, if you have someone who ties a rakhi to your wrist, you are so lucky.
Respect her, be by her side, protect her dreams and respect all other females around you with that same thought.
Tabhi tum uss rakhi ke asli haqdar ho.
