How much do you know about section 24a of PACE?
This is the part of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 which conveys upon you the power to arrest:
"anyone who is in the act of committing an indictable offence" or anyone who you have "reasonable grounds for suspecting to be committing an indictable offence".
Even if police do respond to an incident in progress, it is most likely that it will be over by the time they arrive. This piece from the Law Gazette sets out, relatively clearly, how the land lies:

Citizen's arrest: A tool or a trap?
Suggestions that the public can 'help tackle the epidemic in shoplifting' opens up a complex area of law and raises a number of legal risks.

In being fair to Blair, once he starts banging a drum, he does keep banging it.
Link to Reuters piece from 2007: "If we don't replace our existing nuclear power stations which are coming to an end, we will find it virtually impossible to meet our climate change targets (and) we'll end up importing even larger amounts of foreign gas," Blair told Sky News.
So, not really a new dawn, then, and certainly not an opportunity "for the UK". Instead, and opportunity for the likes of B Gates with his Terrapower plan for micro-nuclear and isotopic "cancer treatment".

David Miller writes:
The 'new Syria': no borders, no territory, no water, no crude oil, no army, no air defence and no weapons (except for those held by murderous al-Qa'ida gangs and foreign proxies).
Just ISIS-in-suits, lots of Mossad, thousands of American troops, French Special Forces, German spies, Turkish asset-strippers, British 'diplomats', Zionist troops and constant Zionist airstrikes.
The 'Blessed Revolution', which took one of the Arab world's most economically productive, stable and culturally sophisticated states and turned millions into refugees or vanished them into dust.
First they told you it was for 'democracy'. Then they told you it was about removing a 'brutal tyrant' (unlike the very genteel Gulf rulers funding the regime change). Then they dared to tell you it was about 'Syrian agency', while all those telling you so were working for US intelligence front organisations. Now the ISIS-in-suits regime is in charge, they tell us it was about Iran and Hizballah all along.
A sectarian war to smash Muslim unity; smash the Resistance; hand Syria over on a plate to the Zionists; and turn it into a playground for the financial interests of everyone who paid for the dirty war, all now jostling for their piece of the pie.
And those who never understood — or lapped up the sectarian bloodlust — clap along like seals.

As far as I can see, the only good thing about Peter Mandelson being appointed to ensure Israel continues to act with impunity is that his reemergence may prompt a few more rounds of "Northern Guacamole".
Jill Mortimer revived the gag in 2021, during her maiden speech in parliament, and I think it has plenty more mileage:
"Lord Mandleson has previously said that the infamous rumour he once mistook chip shop mushy peas for avocado dip guacamole was a “great story but not true”. He said the mix-up was actually made by an American student helping out in a 1986 by-election but became wrongly linked to him over the years after a joke present from former Labour leader Neil Kinnock."

HART on the "decision" to jab 12 to 15 year-olds:
"So what happened next? Without wanting to rake over old ground (the links in the previous paragraph provide a suitably detailed blow-by-blow account of developments), in what was referred to at the time as a ‘twisted and perverse’ decision, in early September 2021 – against the scientific advice of the JCVI (Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation) – the UK CMOs gave the green light for otherwise healthy 12 to 15-year-olds to be injected with a concoction that was purportedly somehow going to help their immune systems tackle the syndrome that was being referred to as Covid-19."
